The average cost of the repeat measurement scheme is £27.82 per patient, calculated by the number of patients who were seen for an initial assessment (359*£29) and the number of patients who were seen for a second examination (124*£25).* The total cost is then divided by the number of patients who were assessed in the repeat measures scheme per year (£13 436/483). 71 patients seen by the repeat measurements scheme are referred onto GERS creating an annual cost of £1975.22 (£27.82*71).
